| Somehow Portsmouth Cathedral seems particularly appropriate to a great naval port. A conventional cathedral is a place for army colors, or RAF memorials. Portsmouth is an appropriate place for Nelson's colors from Trafalgar. Perhaps it's because the architecture reminds me of colonial buildings in the Carribean. |
